“Lily’s is the culmination of my lifelong love affair with food and fire.”

Pitmaster and Partner Chris Cahill brings decades of experience in the food industry to lead our culinary endeavor. Prior to Lily’s, Chris held the title of Executive Chef in restaurants in Boston and Los Angeles and has also been a part of projects in Plymouth, MA and New York City.

Chris describes Lily’s mission as “Translating our love of ingredients, flavors, and process into the best barbecue experience available”. For the menu, Chris has chosen to partner with Land & Sea Provisions of Pembroke, MA for the meats and Katsiroubas Bros.of Boston, MA for the produce, which sets Lily’s apart from every other BBQ place in MA. Each meat is prepared with his own dry rubs prior to smoking. Our smokers burn oak, providing a neutral smoke to showcase the flavors of the meats and rubs. Chris has added his spin to traditional sauce flavors as well as creating some uniquely New England inspired flavors.

Lily’s is co-run by Chris’ daughter Stephany, a 2023 graduate of the Blue Hills Regional culinary program. Stephany has been working professional kitchens with her father since she was 16 and is proud to be a part of this family-managed team.
